Karen has unique management expertise with business operations, broker compensation, project management, system requirements and data conversions. Prior to starting her own consulting business, Karen worked in different capacities while employed with several insurance companies, a large insurance software development company and she was the former VP, Operations at a major national MGA.
Karen became independent in 2003 and her clients have all been VirtGate customers. Many of Karen’s MGA clients need assistance from an experienced MGA / management resource. She knows the MGA senior staff and executives are functioning at full capacity and they need an experienced hand to implement important business objectives with staff, carriers, and advisors. Karen’s clients often utilize her skills for in-depth VirtGate training and Project Management.
Karen has worked with dozens of MGA clients to help them make important progress. Karen performs MGA Operations procedural reviews with documented recommended steps for improvement. She trains managers and executives to understand their VirtGate data and can take steps to ensure their business data is entered to meet their requirements of management reporting. She provides ongoing training and support to VirtGate customers through online seminars and recorded video training sessions. Karen will assist executives and managers define and implement process changes to consistently provide excellent advisor service.
